An Australian international sideshow performer, strongman and circus entertainer, Gordo has performed in 36 countries. His work brings together extraordinary physical feats, genuine sideshow skills and the kind of absurdity that leaves a room wondering whether to gasp, laugh or do both at once. His performance vocabulary includes sword swallowing, fire, strongman feats, comedy and audience interaction. He is known as The World’s Strangest Strongman and The World’s Strongest Tongue. But the skills are only half the story. There is an unexpectedly warm welcome at the centre of the spectacle: an invitation to share the moment, enjoy the ridiculous and feel part of the show. That combination carries through his work in circus, cabaret, theatre and international festival entertainment. It also shapes his approach to corporate and special events, where the audience and the occasion are the starting point for a conversation about the performance. No two rooms are quite the same. Alongside performing, Gordo works as an MC and host, and as a director and producer of live entertainment. He understands both sides of the curtain: the connection on stage and the care that goes into bringing an event together. “Sideshow wrapped in a big hug” is more than a description of the act. It captures the balance that makes him Gordo: spectacle and generosity, extraordinary skills and a thoroughly human sense of humour. Or, as he puts it: “The aim of the game is to feel real good.” BOOKING & MEDIA: gordogamsby@gmail.com SHOWREEL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EvceqzLdkE WEBSITE: https://gordogamsby.com PHOTOGRAPHY: Request original promotional images and credit/usage details by email.
